Dr. Alain is a board-certified pediatrician with a background education from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Hospital, Nationwide Childrens Hospital, Ohio State University. . His areas of professional interests include asthma, allergies, ADHD and child abuse.
Dr. Alain instructs in critical care and is on the Ohio State University Faculty. He has authored a number of articles in medical and public journals. He is a member of several local and national medical organizations.
Dr. Alain was named one of the 2016 and 2017 and 2018 Top Doctors in Central Ohio by Columbus Monthly.
Dr. Alain is dedicated husband and father. Among his hobbies and special interests are teaching, nature, camping, woodwork, and tennis.
Dr. Shisila (Dr. Dave) joined the staff of Marysville Pediatrics in July 2009 after completing his medical training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is a board certified pediatrician with a background education from Miami University and The Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health. He enjoys working with both children and parents to ensure the health of his patients.
Dr. Shisila enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. His interests include following the Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams. He is an avid tennis player and also enjoys anything that brings him outdoors.
Dr. Kartan joined the staff of Marysville Pediatrics in June 2007. Prior to this she worked in Pittsburgh for 10 years and enjoyed teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Kartan has high expectations of herself and tries to provide empathetic and caring treatment. She enjoys working with all age groups and enjoys developing relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Kartan is a board certified pediatrician with a background from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, University of Pittsburgh, and Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Kartan’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, and seeing movies.
